We know that you have a thirst for art, so we shall go and see the exhibition of Russian abstract artist Wassily Kandinsky at the Tate Modern which opens late on Fridays.

August is upon us, and many of you will be in Croatia or some other sunny clime. But not all of you, and rather than going to sleep in August, we have organised an event for you.

We will cast our critical eye over his art on Friday 18 August. We will meet at 6.15, inspect the exhibition, and then we shall head to the nearby The Founders Arms pub for a drink as well as chat and artistic discussion.

Follow the links for more details about the exhibition, Time Out's review of the exhibiton, and Founders Arms pub.

When: Friday, 18 August 2006, 6.15 PM
Where: Tate Modern, Bankside, London SE1 9TG
Followed by:
The Founders Arms pub
Tickets:
