There will be a concert on Wednesday 9 November in Wigmore Hall under
the Patronage of His Excellency Josko Paro, Ambassador of the Republic
of Croatia.
The concert is promoted by The Stone-Mallabar Foundation to raise funds
for the education of exceptionally talented Croatian student Stjepan
Hauser.
The programme by performers Alexander Ivashkin (cello) and
Mikhail Rudy (piano) inlcude works by Britten, Prokofiev, Stravinsky,
Chopin and Schubert.
Alexander Ivashkin is a Professor of Music and Head of Performance
Studies at Goldsmiths College and will play a Giuseppe Guarneri cello.
