Dear Friends
The Royal Society, in collaboration with the International
Trust for Croatian Monuments and
the Croatian embassy, have arranged an exhibition to celebrate the 300th
anniversary of the birth of the prominent Croatian scientist Rudger Boscovich.
It started on 24 November and lasts until 25 February. Viewing is by
appointment only.
This is will be an opportunity to see rare items in
connection with this renowned scientist. We are thus pleased to announce that
we have arranged a special appointment time for CSYPN. This will be on Thursday
8 December at 6PM. We will need to meet outside at 5.50PM. As it is a small
exhibition we will be in there for around 30 minutes. (so any latecomers will
miss it altogether.)
Afterwards, for those who want to, we will go for either a
bite to eat or a drink – whatever we feel like on the night.

Also, we would just like to remind you of our Christmas
dinner on 10 December. Interest is running high and there is a firm limit on
places. Full details can be seen
