Dear Friends,

We haven't been to the opera as a group for quite some time.

Sandra Martinovic, a former Committee member of CSYPN, is currently assistant director to Dioneo's new production of 'The Emperor of Atlantis'. She's told us she is one of the first assistant female opera directors from Croatia to work in London.

It would be very nice to go as a CSYPN group to support this project, a one act opera, and to listen to an opera which has been described as 'powerful'.

The opera is taking place at the Cello Factory, a building with an illustrious reputation on two counts; firstly, it was where the first Daleks were made for Doctor Who and secondly it was once used as a warehouse by the Savoy Hotel.

When: wednesday April 6th

Where: The Cello Factory, 33-34 Cornwall Road, Waterloo, London SE1 8TJ, part of the South Bank

Time of performance: 8.00 pm- 9.15 pm

Time for meeting: 7.40 pm, by the ticket office at the Cello Factory
