Dear Friends,

Our long planned sailing weekend to the Norfolk broads will take place this coming weekend -  17/18/19. There are still places left. Details below.

Brief details:

Friday 17 September

We depart by mini-bus from Golders Green tube station at 7.00 p.m (sharp) on Friday 17th. Late arrivals will not be accommodated. We arrive around 10.00 p.m. to the camp in Thurne.

Saturday 18 September

Launch the boats in the morning and sail/row up the river Thurne to Hickling Broad. Then sail to Martham boat yard. BBQ in the evening

Sunday 19 September

Sail to Horsey mere and back to take the boats out of water around 4.00 p.m. Back to Golders Green by 8.00p.m. at the latest.

The cost will be £50 (cash) per person payable at the start of the trip. We will be sleeping in tents – unless you prefer a hotel (which you will need to pay for).

In case of bad weather, we will visit Norwich and Cambridge.

If you are interested in coming, we will give fuller details.  We need to know by Wednesday if you want to come.

Film screening

We are hoping to screen the documentary film on the issues around the Ante Gotovina case – ‘Searching for a Storm’.  The film premiered at the Zagreb Dox film festival and was recently screened on Croatian television. We know some of you are very interested in seeing it. Our provisional date is 30 September. More details soon.
