Croatian Chaplaincy

Ove se godine navrsava cetrdeseta obljetnica postojanja Hrvatske katolicke misije London.  Prigoda je to da svetom misom koju ee 8. studenoga 2009. predvoditi msgr. Zelimir Putjie, dubrovacki biskup i predsjednik Vijeea za inozemnu pastvu Hrvatske biskupske  konferencije i Biskupske konferencije Bosne i Hercegovine u zajednistvu s msgr. Alanom Hopesom,  pomoenim westminsterskim biskupom zahvalimo na Bozjoj blizini u protekla cetiri desetljeea, te ujedno zamolimo Bozji blagoslov za dane koji su pred nama.

U zelji i nadi rasta u zajednistvu srdacno Vas pozivam na godisnji susret nase zajednice  u nedjelju, 8. studenoga 2009. u crkvi sv. Augustina - Hammersmith

I would like to inform you that a special thanksgiving Mass will be held on Sunday, 8th of November at St.  Augustine's Church, Hammersmith, 55 Fulham Palace Road, W6 8AU at 2 pm to mark the 40^th  anniversary of  the existence of the Croatian Chaplaincy in London. It will be celebrated jointly by the Rt. Rev Zelimir Puljic,  Bishop of Dubrovnik, Chairman of the Council for Croatian Catholics abroad of the Bishops' Conferences of  Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and by the Rt. Rev Alan Hopes, Auxiliary Bishop of Westminster.

To be held in the presence of His Excellency the Croatian Ambassador Dr Ivica Tomic

You are invited to an evening of friendship, traditional Croatian live music, food and wine, fantastic raffle prizes to support the charitable work of the Croatian Catholic Chaplaincy on the 40th anniversary of its foundation in London.

The highlight of the evening will be a special guest performance by the Croatian klapa BONACA from Sibenik.

BONACA is one of Croatia's best klapa groups with 11 published CDs. They have  represented Croatia on numerous festivals at home and abroad and won prestigious awards.

Twenty years ago they had an audience with the Pope John Paul II and it is very appropriate  that they will sing in aid of the Croatian Chaplaincy in London on its 40th anniversary.

COST - £ 45 PER PERSON (includes buffet supper, wine and non alcoholic drinks)
