World Handball Championship

Croatia - World Champion in 2003 and Olympic gold medalist in 1996 and 2004 - has reached the finals of the World Handball Championship!

Our team played some wonderful handball and trashed all of their opponents (nine of them) so far. However, the last game is the one that count! We'll play France on Sunday at 4.30pm.

Our friends at the Famous Three Kings are expecting us on Sunday. Don't miss it!

As you're probably aware, Croatia is the host of the World Handball Championship (BTW, Croatia is one of the favourites to win the world crown).

At the moment teams are playing the group stage - Croatia is in the Group B (Split) with Spain, Sweden, South Korea, Kuwait and Cuba.

The first two games (v Korea, v Kuwait) Croatia won and tonight we're playing Cuba. Two other group games will be played on Wednesday (v Spain) and Thursday (v Sweden).

Our friends at the Famous Three Kings will be screening most of the games and it would be great if you could join us and support our team throughout the tournament.

This page will be updated as Croatia (hopefully) goes through to the final.
