Dr. Branko Franolic, a distinguished linguist and
retired professor from York Univerity, will be lecturing on the Croatian
language in a roundtable discussion at Trinity College in Cambridge, as a part of our Language Project.
The roundtable discussion has been organised by the CSYPN Language Committee,
and the Cambridge Croatian Society will host the event at Trinity. By
combining the lecture with other cultural events, we believe that we have
improved the content of this promising Day Out and increased its appeal to members
interested in Croatian culture.
For all those who are not taking the train from King's Cross in London,
please arrive in Cambridge by 10.30am, and meet the group at the train
station at that time. There is pay and display parking at the station, and
free parking should be available around town.
